And so we draw to the end of another year. Thanks to everybody who's been a part of the TasLUG community - it's been great to share and be a part of our growth over the past 12 months.

To close 2013, we'll be taking a look at how to use Blender to create a custom ball for the Free/Open Source Game Neverball.

This month, we'll be taking another look at the Definium Monotreme, a locally designed and developed embedded Linux system intended to communicate with Building Automation Systems and building energy Management Systems to provide supervisory control and centralised data collection and analysis.

Some site issues prevented us putting up an October meeting announcement. We had a good turnout for the October meeting in which we looked at D3, a Javascript visualisation library used by Cheeseness in his statistics pages and articles.
