Hi all!
It is with great pleasure that I announce the first TasLUG meeting in Launceston in A Long Time™.
On Saturday the 31st, we'll have Pia Waugh down, showing off some of the outcomes from the Australian Open Source Industry & Community Census from last year as well as showing off some of the technology behind the OLPC laptops.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 2:00pm at the Royal Oak, which is on the corner of Tamar and Brisbane Streets, in their upstairs meeting room, which is accessible without going through the bar area.
To reiterate:
2:00pm
31st May
Royal Oak
Launceston
Pre-meeting lunch downstairs at 1:00pm for anyone who's interested.

Edit: I'll be wearing a Firefox t-shirt and will endeavour to have some sort of penguin flavoured stuffed toy/other visible oddity present to make sure we can be found!

If we could get an indication of attendance, that would be helpful. The venue is not large. I am expecting that it will hold about 15 -18 people.
